This Ganesh idol has been made using organic clay that contains plant seeds within. It has been given a vibrant make over using a multitude of different colors across the entirety of the idol.
At the end of the 10-day festival, the idols undergoes a symbolic immersion. Instead of being immersed in a water body, the idol is placed in an accompanying pot and watered until it dissolves. Thanks to the seeds sown into the pot, the idol grows back as a plant.
