This idol has been made using organic clay that contains plant seeds within. The idol has been finished in a contrast between mud grey, cream and gold that really helps it stand out from the generic idols out there.
At the end of the 10-day festival, the idols undergoes a symbolic immersion. Instead of being immersed in a water body, the idol is placed in an accompanying pot and watered until it dissolves. Thanks to the seeds sown into the pot, the idol grows back as a plant.
